A vehicle was destroyed and a nearby home damaged after a fire broke overnight on Montreal’s West Island.
Police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 12:45 a.m. Monday about the incident on Meridian Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, the Montreal fire department was already working to control the fire.
Police say the vehicle is considered a total loss, and significant damage was caused to the residence.
The file has been transferred to the Montreal police arson squad.
