Eight St. James’s Place (SJP) funds have failed to provide value over the past 15 months, according to the wealth manager’s Assessment of Value report. The remaining 36, all deemed as delivering value, represented 88% of the firm’s total assets under management. This marks an improvement on 2024’s report, which saw 13 strategies flagged for delivering sub-par value for clients. The firm’s £1.9bn Global Government Bond and £726m Global Government Inflation Linked Bond strategies were also flagged for failing to deliver value. These lower fund charges have a direct and positive impact on fund performance which will be notable in next year’s assessment of value report.
