When you catch a campus shuttle this fall, you might notice a new look. These state-of-the-art vehicles have replaced the University’s aging shuttle fleet, offering a quieter, cleaner ride for students, faculty and staff traveling around and between the Evanston and Chicago campuses. The new buses are part of a broader initiative to modernize campus transportation while reducing environmental impact. According to Northwestern’s sustainability team, the environmental benefit is equivalent to removing three traditional diesel buses from the road.
