Moving deeper into the smart car market, LeTV launched yesterday LeUI for Auto, a custom operating system for the company’s Its SEE (Super Electric Ecosystem) project unveiled last month, and also announced the establishment of Leshi Super Electric Car Company. The operating system boasts voice/touch/motion control, automatic navigation, group chat, music streaming, online radio/video, and roadside assistance services. LeTV has hired Lu Zhengyu, former managing director of Asia & Oceania operations for Infiniti, as Vice President, along with over 260 employees from around the world for the connected electric car company, according to LeTV. LeTV’s electric vehicles will be sold at low prices and target the global electric car market, the management said yesterday. A smartphone version of the OS was unveiled last month (source in Chinese).
