Egypt’s Pyramids FC marked another milestone in their rapid rise on the continental stage after clinching the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup, defeating Saudi giants Al Ahli Jeddah 3–1 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. Al Ahli equalized through England international Ivan Toney from the penalty spot, but Pyramids reasserted control in the second half. The victory gave Pyramids their first-ever international title, building on their maiden CAF Champions League crown earlier this year. It also reinforced Egypt’s recent dominance in the tournament, following Al Ahly’s inaugural win in 2024. The eventual winner will meet Paris Saint-Germain, who as UEFA Champions League holders are seeded directly to the final.
