A man has been arrested following an alleged high-octane police chase where he caused multiple crashes on a major highway and bit an off-duty officer. The 29-year-old allegedly smashed into several cars along the Great Western Highway in the Blue Mountains area this morning, damaging multiple vehicles and wrecking his own Hyundai SUV.
