On September 27, the makers of Jr NTR’s blockbuster film Devara announced its much-anticipated sequel. Production banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts unveiled the news on social media with a striking new poster showing Jr NTR in an intense look, staring directly at the camera. Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, follows a man’s sea-bound mission to protect his people. Upon its North American release, it outperformed Adam Driver’s Megalopolis at the box office and marked Jr NTR’s first solo film in six years since Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018). Jr NTR was last seen in War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani, as part of YRF’s spy universe.
