EDAC Group president, Mark Burr-Lonnon said the European markets have been “pretty tough” but the market grew last year, fuelled in part by the robotics and ruggedised connectors for military and non-military applications. Still to be announced are fine pitch card edge connectors, Micro-D expansion, push-pull and pogo-pin expansion connectors. Minky Lam has also joined the company as senior director of Asia sales & marketing. President Mark Burr-Lonnon said that growth in China was 36% last year and 60% in the rest of Asia. Brands within the EDAC Group are EDAC, NorComp, MH Connectors, and Northern Technologies.
