Israeli bombing continued in Gaza on Monday morning, having killed at least 23 Palestinians, including 21 in Gaza City, as the army pushes on to occupy the region. The attacks included a strike on a tent targeting displaced Palestinians in the south in Nuseirat, killing one. Israeli forces have also continued their raids on the occupied West Bank, detaining 17 more Palestinians, including a 14-year-old boy, across the Ramallah and el-Bireh governorate. US President Donald Trump will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday for high-stakes talks aimed at pushing an elusive Gaza peace plan over the line. Trump says a deal to end the nearly two-year war on Gaza, free captives held in Gaza, and an agreement to disarm the Palestinian group is effectively done, following talks with Arab leaders last week.
