Shanghai Disneyland has started installing its first major Marvel attraction at its new Spider-Man-themed land. The first vertical steel column has been put in place for the new “high-energy thrill coaster”, also the park’s first major Marvel-themed attraction, Shanghai Disney Resort said in a press release. Construction of the Spider-Man-themed land started in May and is “progressing smoothly”, the resort added. A third Disney-themed hotel, located adjacent to the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, is also currently under construction, as is a new residential community for the resort’s cast members. Shanghai Disneyland’s new land is “one of the latest examples of the continuous development and expansion of Shanghai Disney Resort”, the resort said.
