Now, if the drivers reject the new deal, they will be deciding to go on strike from this coming Sunday, October 5. ‌The ballot for drivers is expected to run early this week, with a result known later in the week. “Following a meeting between Unite, the company and Acas, a revised pay offer was put on the table. First Bus boss Doug Claringbold welcomed the decision to postpone the start of the strike to allow for the ballot.
