Drivers using the N24 through Tipperary town are advised that the traffic lights at the Junction of Main street(N24) and Bridge and Davis Streets are out of order. Stop signs have been placed on the Bridge and Davis street sides giving right of way to the N24 traffic. ESB Crews were working in Tipperary town on Sunday to remove 6 poles from the Spittal area of the N74 near the Dundrum Road(R661) junction. Overnight several of the remaining street lights in the area were not working and two temporary sets of lights were in place operated by generators. Tipperary County Council have been contacted for a response as regards restoring the lights and when the new pedestrian crossing lights on the N74 will become operational.
