The Olomouc Archdiocese has set up a contact point for people who suffered sexual abuse within the Church and are in need of support or guidance, spokesman Jiří Gračka told the Czech News Agency. The center is meant to provide a safe space where victims and witnesses can find understanding and obtain information about further assistance. Meetings will take place in a discreet setting, with staff bound by confidentiality. Victims will remain anonymous. Helping victims of abuse is one of the key priorities for Olomouc Archbishop Josef Nuzík in his role as head of the Czech Bishops’ Conference (ČBK), the archdiocese said.
