Discussion Proposal: Power PricesThe electricity sector's production chain is the same as always: generation, transmission, and distribution. But... what has changed, and significantly, is the type of generation. For over a century, it was essentially "centralized" in "dispatchable" plants producing "firm" energy. And so, an important change is underway: the associated costs of firm and non-firm energy are different, of course! The pricing of these energies, firm and non-firm, should reflect the real costs of each.
