Hope for 'deprived' city crime hotspot after £20 million cash boost

The latest police data shows that the Warndon police team had reports of 203 crimes in July this year, including 50 incidents of antisocial behaviour.

Cllr Desayrah said: “Warndon has endured unacceptably high levels of anti-social behaviour, fuelled by deprivation and the loss of youth provision.
The 50 incidents of ASB in Warndon were much higher than those reported to many other policing team areas within Worcester.
For example, there were 15 ASB reports in Gorse Hill and Rainbow Hill, 15 for Battenhall and Nunnery, 29 for St John's and Bedwardine and 22 for Arboretum and Claines.
