Man jailed after launching 'unprovoked' attack on police officers

Anthony Shingler, 40, assaulted PC O'Shea and racially harassed PC Ali, while they were on duty in April.
During a hearing at Worcester Magistrates' Court, the incident was described as an "unprovoked attack of a serious nature".
Shingler, of no fixed abode, has now been sentenced to 12 months in prison.
He has also been ordered to pay £50 in compensation but no costs as he is of limited means.
