She’s been through with productions of “Annie” and, a year ago, with “Some Like It Hot,” but she says it’s “always exciting” to be back. “That’s my roots, yeah,” Patrick, 28, says via phone from a tour stop in South Carolina. So you want to make sure everything feels as Disney magical as they remember it from the animated feature film. “I was always kind of obsessed with the Disney princesses, so I really get the Disney magic of it all. I’m always backstage, singing along.”And while the work is rigorous, Patrick is happy to be building her own community with fellow theater travelers.
