More than 50 schools took part Saturday in Carrollton Band Day, an annual competition showcasing parade, field, drumline, and auxiliary performances. In Class Three field show competition, Trenton finished third, and Macon placed fourth among seven schools. Trenton also secured second place in the Class Three indoor auxiliary category, which featured five entries. From other area schools, Gallatin placed first in the Class Two indoor drumline among seven entries. Chillicothe took first place in the Class Three parade, while Maysville won the open division of the indoor auxiliary.
