Yesterday (July 23), the Watford Observer reported that the retail giant had submitted a premises license application for the former Argos unit in Borehamwood Shopping Park, just off Theobald Street. Home Bargains currently operates around 600 other locations in the UK and is rapidly expanding into Hertfordshire, recently submitting plans to open a store in St Albans.
