Royal Devon tops South West for inpatient care in new CQC survey resultsPatients have rated the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Trust the best in the South West for inpatient care, praising its kindness, compassion and communication in a major national surveyView Image Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital Main entrance (Image: Copyright unknown)Patients have given their local NHS trust a ringing endorsement in a major national survey – placing it ahead of every other hospital trust in the South West for inpatient care. ‌The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust came out on top in the 2024 Adult Inpatient Survey by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which was published on Tuesday, September 9. ‌A total of 523 Royal Devon patients responded, with the trust coming first in eight out of eleven key areas across the region.
