As a result, the main character looks like she’s 60 before she’s even had the opportunity to explore the world as a young adult. Instead, Kimberly Akimbo takes the form of a dark, and sometimes absurdist, fairly tale injected with quirky humor and social satire that offers powerful reminders to enjoy what precious little life we have.
