Drivers in Auburn should expect delays as a major repaving project gets underway along North Street. Starting Friday, September 26, crews from Northern Asphalt will begin paving the two northbound lanes of the busy four-lane road. Work will pause over the weekend and resume Monday, September 29, continuing through the week until complete. The 1.7-mile project stretches from Arterial West to just north of Quarry Road. After paving wraps up, crews will follow with lane striping and adjustments to utility covers.
