A man was arrested in Auburn after police say he violated an order of protection and assaulted a woman during a domestic dispute on Cayuga Street. Officers responded around 8:50 a.m. on September 24 and found the woman with an injury to her hand and damage to her vehicle. The incident occurred despite a full stay-away order of protection already in place. He now faces multiple charges including aggravated family offense, criminal contempt, criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment. He was arraigned in Auburn City Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail.
