The 116th Farndale Show took place on August Bank Holiday Monday and is a traditional show held at the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Agricultural sections include cattle, sheep, goats, farm produce and stick dressing, while the equestrian classes include both ridden and in hand as well as a gymkhana. A spokesperson for Farndale Show said: "The sun shone, and the crowds came, and the magic happened. There was something to interest everyone from a Vintage combine harvester to Dahlias and giant onions, polished ponies and Pygmy Goats. "The Yorkshire TV Vet Peter Wright came to judge the Pet Dog classes again as he enjoyed it so much last year.
