James Witty, from East Lutton near Malton, claimed the World Conventional Ploughing title at the 70th World Ploughing Contest, held near Prague in the Czech Republic on September 5 and 6. The win marks his second global crown, having previously secured the World Reversible Ploughing Championship in 2003.
