LA GRANDE — Residents can meet the new La Grande city manager during an upcoming community town hall. City Manager John O’Brien announced the community town hall will take place 6-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 15, in the council chambers at La Grande City Hall, 1000 Adams Ave. It is an opportunity for community members to come together, hear updates and connect directly with city leadership and staff. “This town hall is the first of a regular quarterly series designed to strengthen communication and transparency,” O’Brien said. The town hall will also be broadcast live on the city’s youtube channel at www.youtube.com/@cityoflagrandeoregon7161.
