Georgina, known as G, has been nominated in the Outstanding Leadership category at the National Lived Experience Awards for her work at the Recovery College Café in Cygnet Hospital. She said: "When I first started working in the café, I was extremely anxious in different areas of the job role. "I always manage better on café days, my shifts are so beneficial to my mental health." Josh Tapp, hospital manager at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke, praised her contribution. "Her passion is one of the main reasons we’ve been able to keep the café open six days a week."
