The UK's first coastal cyber security conference, CSIDES, will take place on Friday, October 3, and is designed specifically for coastal communities. It aims to equip businesses, educators and residents with the tools and knowledge to stay safe online. "Our coastal towns can sometimes feel left behind when it comes to opportunities like this, so to have the UK’s first coastal cyber conference taking place on our doorstep is a real boost. Hazel, one of the event organisers, said: "Cyber security doesn’t just belong to the big cities. Speakers include professionals from across the cyber security sector, including Colin Topping, founder of Ginger Cat Cyber Security, and Dr Clare Johnson, capability lead for cyber and networks.
