The collision took place on Homefield at The Orchard at about 10.30am and led to the road being blocked, with reports of some traffic in the area. One patient was taken by land ambulance to Weston General Hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 10:47hrs on Monday, September 22, to a road traffic collision in Weston-super-Mare. “We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and a rapid response vehicle to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Weston General Hospital.”
