Eight sheep escaped from a nearby field and walked in through the front door of the Blue Bell in at Arkendale, near Boroughbridge. The incident happened around 4.30pm last Monday afternoon as the popular pub was getting ready to open. Assistant Manager Hannah Parkin said: “It was a nice day so we had the door open. We were getting the pub ready to open. I think they had been in there five minutes before I looked around and saw them.
