Police update on farm 'electric shock' incident as pair released without charge
["Alex O'Leary"]
The Northern Farmer | News
Emergency services were called to a farm in the Holme Lane area of Seamer on July 29 after a boy suffered suspected electric shock injuries at about 4pm.
The pair were then both bailed - but North Yorkshire Police has this week confirmed that they have since been released without charge.
It comes as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As previously reported, several ambulance crews, including two air ambulances, were called to the farm after the incident in summer.
Pictures from the scene showed a police van parked in the centre of a field beside a combine harvester, just off Holme Lane.
