The Boston Red Sox are remaining patient with outfielder Wilyer Abreu.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora provided an update on his outfielder’s status Tuesday:“(Abreu hit on Monday).
He was a little bit sore, but not tight,” Cora said, as transcribed by Christopher Smith of MassLive.
The Red Sox are waiting until he’s considered 90% before activating him, likely doing so without a rehab assignment as the minor league season ends this weekend.
