The Boston Bruins were sellers at last year’s trade deadline, and Charlie Coyle was one of the many impact players the team dealt. The Bruins traded Coyle and a fifth-round pick to the Colorado Avalanche for Casey Mittelstadt, Will Zellers and a second-round pick. This week, ahead of the 2025-26 season, Coyle took time to reflect on his time with Boston and said goodbye to Bruins fans. “I can’t feel anything other than grateful & fortunate to have played for the Boston Bruins for 6 years,” Coyle wrote. In his seven seasons with the Bruins, Coyle skated in 452 games, recording 96 goals and 134 assists for 230 points.
