Several hundred members, retirees, and guests turned out for an Aug. 16 banquet held by Ironworkers Local 29. Known as a pin dinner, it includes a presentation of commemorative pins that recognize length of service in the union. Local 29 holds its pin dinner every three years at the Oregon Convention Center. Local 29 will turn 125 in 2026.
