Terri M. Zelch Galicia, New Wilmington, passed away peacefully Sept. 27, 2025, in Shenango on the Green, New Wilmington. She was 76. Mrs. Galicia was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Sharon, a daughter of William and Mary "Mitzi" (Lingner) Zelch. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1967 graduate of Farrell High School. Terri earned both a BS and MS in Criminal Justice from Youngstown State University. She worked as a social worker and as a teacher at YSU in the Criminal Justice department. She enjoyed reading, writing short stories, and watching mourning doves. Her husband, David A. Galicia, whom she married Oct. 16, 1971, passed away April 4, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Billie Moyer and her husband, Matt, Clark, and their son, David, her husband's namesake; her son, Joshua Galicia and his wife, Alexandra, Cary, Ill., and their son, Owen, the firstborn grandson. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Gordon Galicia and his wife, Susanne; a nephew, Caanan Galicia and his wife, April; a great-nephew, Kash Galicia; and her uncle, Richard Lingner and his wife, Vicki.
