FORT PIERCE, Fla. [mdash] With great sadness, we announce the passing of Helen "Bobbie" Roberta Garrott (Bradshaw), 82, of Fort Pierce, Fla., who died of natural causes and departed this earthly life on Sept. 9, 2025. Helen was born in Cumberland, Md., to the late Robert D. and Helen L. (Nestor) Bradshaw. Helen graduated from Ridgeley, W.Va., and later in life she earned an associate degree in general science. She was married to Martin Garrott. Helen is survived by her daughters, Tracie Sawyer (Cumberland, Md.), Tammy Freeman (Fort Pierce, Fla.), Cristal (Jeremy) Cline (Pensacola, Fla.), and Melissa Lobo (Crestview, Fla.) and sons, Michael Freeman (Fort Pierce, Fla.) and Eric (Amanda) Layton (Round Rock, Texas). She was predeceased in death by her husband, Martin Garrott; brothers, William H. Bradshaw and Robert E. Bradshaw; and her daughter, Melvia Diane Boyce. She was kind, considerate, caring. She loved all her children and all her cats and dogs. She was a huge animal lover and enjoyed being around them. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
