Sharon retired from the Allegany Board of Education in the food/nutrition department after 27 years. She enjoyed seeing the kids coming through the lunch line smiling.
Sharon loved her family and enjoyed being a Nanny/GiGi first and foremost. She was the heart of our family.

She had many passions such as coloring, making crafts, planting flowers, country music, and painting rocks with nail polish.
She loved the beach, butterflies, seashells, roosters, angels, holiday decor, the PITTSBURGH STEELERS, and her four-legged companion, Chloe Jean. Everything she did in her life was for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by the love of her life for the last 8 ½ years, Mike Woolard; her children, John Twigg (Sherry), Shelly Thuss (Kenny); step-children, Matt Woolard (Carly), Danny Woolard (Erica), Jason Woolard (Bobbi), Jonathan Woolard (Lauren), and Stephanie Woolard; her grandchildren, Cody Twigg, Lacy Kunis (Jermey), Alexis Ickes (Garrett), Johnny Twigg (Raychael), Brittany Helmstetter (Branden), Sierra Cessna (Zach), Alisha Kennedy (Dylan), John Kennedy (Kyleigh), Justin Heavner, and 26 more grandchildren; her great grandchildren, the light of her life, Carter Lee, TeYonna, Maycee, Ciara, Deztyn, Raylynd, Oaklee, Rynlie, Claire, Reece, Ally, Zander, Maddox, John, Grace, Ryleigh, Payton, Dillon, Raelyn, and 4 more great grandchildren; brother, Rodney Bridges; and sisters, Polly Lesh, Elaine Bennett (Lance), and Donna Bridges (Myron); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank A. Paige and the entire team of Home / Hospice Care at UPMC Western Maryland for taking such great care of our angel. The family would also like to thank her niece, Sherry Mock (Justin), in physical therapy for keeping an eye on her at the nursing home.
Family and friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A, 404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, for visitation from 3 to 6 p.m., and a service to follow from 6 to 7 p.m., with nephew Danny Twigg officiating.
