While the calendar says that today is the first day of Fall, those of us here in Louisiana just simply disagree. However, here in the South, specifically Louisiana, though the Autumnal Equinox (first day of Fall) will supposedly begin at 1:19 pm Central today, we just aren't buying it. We know it's just not fall until some local weatherman interrupts most of the LSU football game to tell us about a storm in Oklahoma. In fact, you can see from these responses that the vast majority of locals in Northwest Louisiana agree that there are certain indicators that Fall is upon us, and those things just haven't happened yet.
