LONACONING [mdash] Mackie, Betty Jean, 68, Lonaconing, Md., peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sept. 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born Oct. 11, 1956, to the late George and Mary (Kimble) Stickley. Also preceded in death by sister, Martha Hege; brother, David Stickley. Betty was survived by children, Cheyenne Troutman (Brandon) and Dakota Mackie (Kandi); grandchildren, Cheylee, Brooklynn and Maverick Troutman; brothers, James Stickley and Paul Stickley (Jan); sister, Lois Marken; and nieces and nephews. Betty loved the outdoors and being with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty will be buried on the family farm cemetery in Flintstone, Md., and all are welcome. There will be a graveside service Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at 12 p.m., with Stevie Leydig officiating at 10101 Stickley Road Flintstone, MD 21530.
