Former Barcelona midfielder and manager, Xavi Hernandez wants to replace Ruben Amorim as Manchester United manager. The BBC reports that the Spaniard is keen on replacing the Portuguese who is under intense pressure to save his job. However, the club being supportive of Amorim, will do little to quell speculation that he is fighting a lost battle. Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, reports that Xavi has been ‘studying’ the Premier League and would ‘immediately’ take the Manchester United job if it was offered. Up next for Amorim is a home game against Sunderland and the Portuguese will be desperate to lead Manchester United to a much-needed victory.
