Seconds after the crash, Jennings, 28, appeared out of his wrecked car and asked the officer, “What happened?”“You tell me?” the officer replied. “I need a new car,” Jennings answers back, before being instructed by the cop to take a seat on the sidewalk and wait for an ambulance to arrive on scene to check him out. After asking Jennings if he was alright, the officer asked what caused him to crash into the back of his cruiser. He is currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail. St. Clair County moved to keep Jennings locked up before trial, warning he’s a real danger to the community.
