In their season opener on Friday at the Shoal Lake Communiplex, Kevin Knee scored twice and Max Dawson added the winner in a 3-2 victory over the Yellowhead Chiefs. The Wheat Kings have their home opener on Wednesday evening at 7:30 when the Yellowhead Chiefs visit J&G Homes Arena. On Friday at Dauphin’s Credit Union Place, the ex-Wheat King Lobreau scored twice in his Southwest debut as the Cougars earned a 5-3 victory over Parkland.
