Cumberland Council is developing an Economic and Inclusive Growth Strategy aimed at improving long-term economic development across the area.
Cllr Mark Fryer, leader of Cumberland Council, said: "The development of the strategy is key to our future economic growth.
"It will set out the case for change in Cumberland and it is important that local businesses and communities are involved.
A draft strategic framework from the council includes a 10-year vision for Cumberland’s economy and identifies objectives under three core themes: People, Place, and Prosperity.
The public consultation is set to remain open for four weeks, closing on Friday, October 17.
