A Telstra outage is preventing some residents in WA’s southwest from making triple-0 calls. “A technician has been scheduled to work on the 4G network outage reported at 12:00 am today,” the telco said on its website. “A Telstra outage is currently affecting customers in the South West region. Police recommended that affected Telstra customers arrange with a neighbour, family member or friend to access a working phone in case of emergency. On Sunday, almost 5000 Optus customers in NSW’s Illawarra region were impacted by a second Optus service outage in 10 days, with at least nine triple-0 calls from Dapto failing to connect.
