The opening ceremony unveiled a commemorative plaque naming the gallery of fine arts after the late Mohamed Benaissa, founder of the Assilah Forum. The exhibition runs until December 31, offering visitors a journey through contemporary Arab visual culture. Khaled Al-Saai’s show, Laile bleue, draws on Arabic calligraphy, collage, and abstraction. Her solo exhibitions include: Qawarib (Boats), Thirty Seas to Drown, One Earth, Several Skies, Forms in Their Slowness, and The Angel’s Fantasy. His work appears in major collections, including the British Museum in London, the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, the Denver Art Museum, and the Museum of Art in Michigan.
