9/28 – Mild Tonight With a Warm Start to the WeekMeteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecastThis week starts off warm and dry, with sunshine continuing through midweek. Highs will reach around 90 degrees Monday and Tuesday, which is about 5 degrees above average for the end of September. By Wednesday, highs dip slightly into the upper 80s, and while most of the day will stay sunny, a few late afternoon rain chances begin to creep in. A 20% chance of showers and storms arrives Thursday afternoon, followed by increasing rain chances into Friday and the weekend. Overall, it’ll be feeling a bit hot to start before a wetter, slightly “cooler” (more average) pattern takes hold heading into the weekend.
