North Andover - Robert O. Hinckley,92, of North Andover, MA died Friday September 19,2025 at Aspen Hill in Haverhill, MA surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 17,1933 in Port Chester, New York to the late Owen and Miriam (Dawson) Hinckley. Robert is survived by his brother, Bruce Hinckley of Cincinnati, Ohio, his four children Robert J. Hinckley of Loganville, PA, Lauralee (Laurie) A. Perrone of Derry, NH, Donald E. Hinckley of Litchfield, NH, Susan M. Cerri of also of Derry, NH. He leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded of his death was his mother Miriam (Dawson) Hinckley, Owen Hinckley, brother Richard Hinckley, sister-in-law Jean (Hall) Hinckley, his first wife Lorraine (Soko) Hinckley, second wife Barbara (Johnson) Hinckley, and daughter Linda Jean Hinckley, Robert graduated from Punchard High School, Andover, MA in 1951. He was a Machinist Mate as a Navy veteran. Robert retired from the Andover Fire department after 32 years of honorable service in the Town of Andover. He was a member of the St. Mathews, Masonic Lodge of Andover as a Master of the lodge twice. He was also a member of Cochichewick Lodge of North Andover and Merrimac Valley Daylight Lodge of Tewksbury, MA and 32nd Degree Shriner. Up until recently he was a faithful member of the Ballardvale United Methodist Church in Andover, MA. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, September 25,2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover.
