Salem - Dorothy Randall, 98, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025. Born and raised in Danvers, MA, Dorothy graduated from Essex Agricultural School. She went on to work for many years in the Lynn School System, where she dedicated herself to supporting students and staff. Dorothy was a woman deeply involved in her community and enjoyed sharing her time and talents with others. She was a proud member of the Salem Historical Society, the Salem Area Women's Club, the Red Hat Society, the Greater Salem Artists Association and the Senior Center. Her creativity shone through her love of painting and gardening, and her warmth was evident in the friendships she built through social gatherings, the Tuesday lunch bunch, and her favorite summer tradition of blueberry picking. Dorothy had a great love for animals and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and joy for life. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Salemhaven for their care and support. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Charles Randall Jr. and her siblings, Harold Lawton, Melvin "Red" Lawton, Kenneth Lawton, and Muriel Bragg. She is survived by her children, Susan Mackie and husband, John of Salem, NH, Robert Randall and wife Nancy of Lynn, MA and William Randall of Salem, NH; her 6 grandchildren, Amie, Jillian, Elisabeth, Stacy, Jonathan, and Jessica; her 10 great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Mariah, Harper, Connor, Emma, Colby, Jacob, Allison, Finley, and Dakota, and her two great-great-grandchildren, Briella and Zalen.
