According to the food pantry manager at Community Services, Jimmie Howard, he and the agency will be offering extended hours at the Starke County Food Pantry, for those who are unable to come in during the current hours. Currently, the food pantry is open 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 10am until 2pm. It has been brought to their attention that many people in our community need to use the food pantry but are unable to come in during the hours they are open. This means that on Monday, October 6th, the food pantry will be open from 10am until 5:30pm. The Starke County Food Pantry is part of Community Services of Starke County, which is located at 311 East Culver Road in Knox.
