Lang9/28/25A Linn County teen has been airlifted to University of Iowa Health Care after a minibike accident in Fayette County. The Iowa State Patrol says 13-year-old Rylee Chmelicek of Fairfax was riding a Coleman minibike in Wadena just after 3:00 Sunday afternoon when she allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign and crossed into an intersection, where she ran into the front fender of a passing 2021 Toyota Sienna being driven by 68-year-old Sandra Kay Butikofer of Manchester. Chmelicek was airlifted to UIHC on Hawkins Drive. Her condition has not been released.
